Daniel
S. Müller |
Daniel received his diploma in chemistry in 2008 under the guidance of Prof. Bernhard Breit at the University of Freiburg, Germany. In 2012, he earned his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Geneva under the direction of Prof. Alexandre Alexakis. As a SNSF (Swiss National Science Foundation) fellow, Daniel conducted postdoctoral studies in the area of total synthesis with Prof. Larry E. Overman at the University of California, Irvine (USA). In 2014, Daniel joined Prof. Ilan Marek group at the Technion (Haifa, Israel), where he worked on the asymmetric carbometalation of cyclopropenes. In 2016 he moved to Rennes where he developed protocols for the in situ generation of novel Z-selective metathesis catalysts and classical Grubbs-type catalysts in the Mauduit group (ENSCR). Ecoles d'Ingénieurs for 2 years in Saint-Louis, Paris and
then joined a school of chemical engineering. During his
last year, he decided to do a double degree with a Master's degree in
Organic Chemistry and Pharmacology in Würzburg, Germany and
a master in chemistry in
2020 at
the "Institut de Chimie et Biochimie Moléculaire et
Supramoléculaire UMR 5246, équipe CASYEN 2" in
