Daniel S. Müller






Daniel received his diploma in chemistry in 2008 under the guidance of Prof. Bernhard Breit at the University of Freiburg, Germany. In 2012, he earned his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Geneva under the direction of Prof. Alexandre Alexakis. As a SNSF (Swiss National Science Foundation) fellow, Daniel conducted postdoctoral studies in the area of total synthesis with Prof. Larry E. Overman at the University of  California, Irvine (USA). In 2014, Daniel joined Prof. Ilan Marek group at the Technion (Haifa, Israel), where he worked on the asymmetric carbometalation of cyclopropenes. In 2016 he moved to Rennes where he developed protocols for the in situ generation of novel Z-selective metathesis catalysts  and classical Grubbs-type catalysts in the Mauduit group (ENSCR). In 2020 he was appointed CNRS researcher and started his independent career in november 2020 at the ISCR Rennes.

Paul Charki

After obtaining his scientific baccalaureate in 2015, Paul followed lessons in a Preparatory Class for the Grandes Ecoles d'Ingénieurs for 2 years in Saint-Louis, Paris and then joined a  school of chemical engineering. During his last year, he decided to do a double degree with a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry and Pharmacology in Würzburg, Germany and a  master in chemistry in 2020 at the "Institut de Chimie et Biochimie Moléculaire et Supramoléculaire UMR 5246, équipe CASYEN 2" in Lyon.
